Tools for Vodcasting:

The easiest way to post a video is through Jing, it captures anything on you see on your computer screen, as an image or short video, and lets you share it instantly. One drawback... 5 minute limit on videos.
Screencast-o-Matic is a web-based vodcast tool that uses Java to open a recording screen. (You will be prompted to run or update Java.) You hit record, then you can upload directly to YouTube or save to your desktop. No software needed!

The most commonly video editing software among flipped class teachers is Camtasia.
Camstudiois able to record all screen and audio activity on your computer and create industry-standard AVI video files and using its built-in SWF Producer can turn those AVIs into lean, mean, bandwidth-friendly Streaming Flash videos (SWFs)
